If you have a guest this Thanksgiving that is vegan, don’t freak out just yet. The rule is simple, “If it comes from an animal, they won’t eat it.” This includes butter, eggs, milk, and cream. Adopt a Turkey for Thanksgiving.

The nation’s leading farm animal protection organization, Farm Sanctuary, has released two PSAs featuring “Big Love” actress Ginnifer Godwin urging compassion for turkeys this holiday season. Godwin is the celebrity spokesperson for their Adopt a Turkey program, which hopes to end the cruel treatment of commercially raised turkeys. The actress hopes to use her position to encourage a vegan lifestyle as well.
